Ornella Bonioma, a young African woman, founder of OTAA NGO, fights for sustainable development on the African continent, a sensitive and important topic for people everywhere, especially in the areas where poverty and starvation are real problems.
As of 2023, the year Ornella Bonioma founded the OTAA NGO, the young woman embarked on a mission to fight against food insecurity, by promoting an environmental commitment and establishing anti-waste partnerships.
In addition to her work and dedication to sustainable development and changing the lives of the most deprived people, Ornella Bonioma supports integration and protection of women and fights against menstrual poverty.

The main mission of the OTAA, NGO based in Brazzaville, Congo, is to ”build a world where solidarity transcends borders, where equity fuels access to healthy nutrition for all, where collaboration unites everyone's efforts in the fight against food waste, and where transparency guides our commitment to a more just and sustainable society”, as mentioned on their official website: https://ong-otaa.com/en/about-us.
Also, a mission of the NGO is to inform women with ages between 9 and 25 about female health and hygiene, talking to young women in schools about their first periods and the best products to use during period, about period underwear and menstrual cups, which are still unknown on the continent, but also about diseases such as endometriosis. On the long term, the NGO wants to ensure access to menstrual hygiene products and gynecological consultations for women in underprivileged environments.
Ornella Bonioma founded the OTAA NGO in 2023 with the mission to fight against food insecurity, as well as promoting women integration in the development of Congo. She is licensed in Law and has a Master's Degree in Environmental Policy and Sustainable Development Management.
Ornella Bonioma’s vision and mission are to help the most deprived people in order to enable them to live with dignity. By doing so, she is becoming a young leader of her generation, a woman who sets an example for every girl and woman in her country and on the African continent.
